The American Chamber of Commerce of El Salvador
The AmCham is getting ready to face the challenges of the new century, improving
further our support to our members and the business community at large,
sponsoring the development of trade relations with United States.
The American Society of El Salvador
 | The American Society seeks to
provide opportunities for gathering and service for US citizens living in El
Salvador. Events include the 4th of July picnic, American Thanksgiving
Service and Annual Wine and Cheese along with a variety of service

The American Women's Association of El
Salvador
 | The American Women's Association of El Salvador was found in 1958, and is
open to all English-speaking women in El Salvador. The AWA usually
holds meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. The association is
a great way to meet people and make friends for new arrivals and contribute
financially to worthy projects in the community. The AWA
sponsors group trips, lunches, cultural activities and holds fund-raising
activities for many local charities during the year. |
The Boy Scouts of America in El Salvador
 | The BSA is an English-speaking Troop for boys in grades 6-12 meeting regularly at the
Union Church on Mondays. (Will resume meeting in the Fall). |
The
Salvadoran Hash House Harriers
 | The SHHH was founded in 1984
and has been refounded three more times, the most recent being in 1998. The
SHHH runs every other Saturday with directions posted on its website. Run fee is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids 12 and

The Union
Church of San Salvador
 | The Union Church of San Salvador is an English-speaking, interdenominational,
international congregation, founded in 1946. The ongoing mission of the Union
Church is to provide worship, fellowship and ministry opportunities for and to
the English-speaking community. The Union Church also participates in ministry
to the people of El Salvador through occasional and ongoing efforts. For more
